Caramel Chocolate is a combination of the recessive caramel mutation and the recessive swiss chocolate mutation. This combination has a brown/purplish colouration with darker saddles. The swiss chocolate gene creates a darker headstamp due to the higher concentration of melanin on the head. The caramel mutation removes some of the head pattern.
