Pastel Black Ice is a combination of the polygenic pastel trait, the recessive sable mutation and the heterozygous incomplete dominant arctic mutation. The combination of arctic and pastel bring out the lighter background colours from the sable mutation. The one pictured hatched out really blue looking right out of the egg, almost like how a stormcloud.
