Pastel Antarctic is a combination of the polygenic pastel trait and the heterozygous incomplete dominant antarctic mutation. Antarctics have a washed-out grey colouration that seems to resemble the axanthic colours, however they have a darker blue tint. There is often a lack of head pattern present. The saddles are brownish in colour. Pastel is a polygenic enhancer trait that intensifies the colours, so this combination is more colourful, with more red patterning over a bluish-grey background.
