Chocolate Arctic Anaconda is a mix of the recessive swiss chocolate mutation, the heterozygous incomplete dominant arctic mutation and the heterozygous incomplete dominant anaconda mutation. The swiss chocolate mutation gives the snake a dark colouration with a higher concentration of melanin on the head than on the rest of the body. The arctic mutation gives the snake a lighter colouration and visible eyebrows. The anaconda mutation gives the snake a lack of pattern. Since the anaconda mutation removes some pattern, the yellowish background of the swiss chocolate mutation is more visible.
