Sandstorm is a combination of the polygenic true hypo trait and the homozygous incomplete dominant superconda mutation. This combination is recognised by the complete lack of pattern and its black eyes and tongue. The ventral scales have a reduced intensity of black and increased yellow colouration. True hypo has a brighter colouration than normal hognose. The superconda mutation removes all dorsal pattern.
