Pastel Toffee Chocolate is a combination of the polygenic pastel trait, the recessive toffeebelly mutation and the recessive swiss chocolate mutation. This combination has a warm tan to sandy background with rusty orange to caramel saddles and fine speckling. The swiss chocolate gene creates a darker headstamp due to the higher concentration of melanin on the head. Pastel is a polygenic enhancer trait that intensifies the colours, bringing out warmer orange tones.
