Mercury Chocolate Anaconda is a combination of the recessive axanthic mutation, the recessive lavender mutation, the recessive swiss chocolate mutation and the heterozygous incomplete dominant anaconda mutation. As hatchlings, this combination has a soft grey to lavender-grey colouration with a subtle purple cast. The swiss chocolate gene creates a darker headstamp due to the higher concentration of melanin on the head. The anaconda mutation removes some of the dorsal pattern.
