Extreme Red Antarctic is a combination of the polygenic extreme red trait and the heterozygous incomplete dominant antarctic mutation. This combination has a pale grey to silvery bluish background with bold, deep rusty red saddles and blotches. The antarctic mutation gives the background its washed-out grey to bluish tone, while the extreme red trait intensifies the red of the pattern, creating a strong contrast between the two.
