Chocolate Arctic is a mix of the recessive swiss chocolate mutation and the heterozygous incomplete dominant arctic mutation. The swiss chocolate mutation gives the snake a dark colouration with a higher concentration of melanin on the head than on the rest of the body. The arctic mutation gives the snake a lighter colouration and visible eyebrows.
