Albino Shadow is a combination of the recessive albino mutation and the polygenic shadow trait. This combination has less brown-black pigmentation and gets a red, orange or yellow colour. The ventral pattern is almost completely gone, with a few dots. The white line you see along the ventral scales in condas, is broken up by pyramid shaped pigmentation, which is usually smaller in classic/normal hognose snakes. Head pattern and other blotches have black edges giving it a shadow appearance. Some have an eyebrow above the eyes. This combination won't change as hognose normally do when they grow up. Shadow hognose all keep their dark look as they age.
